What Starbucks is to coffee, EnlighTea Cafe is to Tea

EnlighTea Café, Inc. is the result of the vision of its founder, James Pham, to establish a chain of Tea Cafes for Meditation, Tea, and Retail as a business for profit. What Starbucks is to coffee, EnlighTea Cafe is to Tea. James' dream and commitment is to open 1000+ tea cafes throughout the world. His original intention was to create a beautiful and luxurious environment where mainstream America could go to relax, find peace, meditate and enhance their enjoyment of life. Tea seemed the perfect compliment to this pursuit and environment.

Mr. Pham, who came to California from Vietnam at the age of two, moved to New York at the age of 20 - where he studied Tantric Zen Meditation with an enlightened meditation teacher. 

James started his career as a software developer, then business analyst and finally project management consultant for over seven years primarily at Fortune 500 companies. In 2000, James began teaching meditation at colleges and in prison. At the same time, he owned and ran a technology consulting company through which he trained and developed technical geniuses from India to become skilled in management then placed them as consultants for the company.

A few years later, James created Empowering Strategies, Inc. and began investing in real estate. He owned, managed and controlled a portfolio of 15 property units in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. These properties were worth over four million dollars and were held by his real estate management & holding company. In 2009, James decided to follow his dream and as part of the overall strategic business plan to relocate his family and ESI/EnlighTea Cafe Headquarters to San Diego, CA where they have successfully launched their e-commerce website and are in the process of opening up EnlighTea Cafes one tea cafe at a time throughout the world.

With his background in real estate acquisitions, property management, and business consulting; his experience in creating beautiful and uplifting environments; and his extensive experience as a practitioner and teacher of meditation, James is in a perfect position to launch and manage EnlighTea Café and to take the corporation public.
